Energy Market Analyst
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Energy Market Analyst will focus on model development, scenario analysis, and report creation while working remotely to enhance and maintain energy market models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support model development and enhancement by conducting research, data sourcing, and updates to energy market models
- Assist in scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate market conditions and provide insights for decision-making
- Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, ensuring data is visually engaging for presentations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel, with experience in optimizing large data models
- Foundation in energy economics and market structures, with knowledge of European energy markets preferred
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or VBA for data manipulation is a plus
- Prior experience in data modeling software, especially within energy markets, is advantageous
