Job Summary
To support Google's energy supply needs, the full-time Strategic Negotiator in Energy Market Development will lead evaluations of regulatory environments, develop energy market solutions, and work cross-functionally to align energy strategies with infrastructure goals, with the option for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic evaluations of regulatory and wholesale market environments across the Southwest Power Pool footprint
- Develop and lead energy market and regulatory solutions to address electricity supply needs
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to align energy market positions with broader infrastructure goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development
- Working knowledge of key energy stakeholders and regulatory frameworks within the Southwest Power Pool footprint
- Demonstrated success in securing strategic energy regulatory or market outcomes
- Creative problem-solving skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
