Energy Markets Manager
Job Summary
To support the growth of the MISO market, the full-time salaried Energy Markets Manager will manage the MISO DER portfolio's revenue and profitability, build relationships with utilities and policymakers, and lead cross-functional initiatives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Accountable for financial modeling, forecasting, customer settlement, and performance optimization of the MISO DER portfolio
- Maintain compliance with MISO Tariff and ensure the DER portfolio is ready to perform at full capacity
- Develop and sustain relationships with MISO staff and utility representatives to advance Voltus's interests
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in energy markets, demand response, or a closely related field
- Proven track record of effectively managing a team
- Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with SQL and/or Python preferred
- Excellent cross-functional project management instincts
- Experience with battery storage assets or working directly with an RTO/ISO is a plus
