Job Summary
Supporting the marketing, structuring, and execution of energy off-take contracts, the full-time remote Energy Originator will engage in negotiating long-term clean energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and natural gas supply contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to navigate market opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the negotiation, structuring, and execution of long-term clean energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and gas tolls for grid and off-grid projects
- Support natural gas origination initiatives by evaluating firm transportation and gas supply contracts
- Establish and cultivate relationships with major commodity counterparties and manage standard industry trading frameworks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience in clean energy development, commodity origination, or energy investment banking
- Demonstrated experience structuring and closing clean energy off-take agreements
- Understanding of power and natural gas markets and standard industry agreements (ISDA, NAESB)
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis using Excel
