Job Summary
Supporting energy procurement initiatives, the full-time Senior Associate, Energy Strategy & Procurement will analyze power market developments, assist with utility engagement efforts, and prepare strategic materials, all while working remotely from Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support evaluation of utility service options, generation alternatives, and power supply structures
- Assist with energy procurement initiatives, including utility service agreements and power purchases
- Prepare leadership presentations and investment committee materials for internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Energy Management, Business, or a related technical discipline
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in utilities, energy procurement, or energy consulting
- Fundamental understanding of wholesale electricity markets and utility rate structures
- Experience supporting energy transactions or utility negotiations
- Exposure to natural gas markets or gas-fired generation
