Job Summary
Formulating and executing the global energy strategy, the full-time salaried Energy Strategy Vice President will lead energy procurement, negotiate trading agreements, and assess alternative energy solutions, all while working remotely from Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute Aligned's global energy strategy
- Partner with utilities and customers to identify firm demand opportunities
- Negotiate commodities trading agreements and electrical supply agreements
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the utility industry, including commodities trading
- Operational experience with generation assets such as coal, gas, nuclear, or renewables
- Education in Engineering, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience in the energy industry
