Engagement Lead Solution Architect
Job Summary
Owning both the technical and delivery aspects, the remote long-term contract Engagement Lead Solution Architect will assess the current application, design a secure step-up control for a customer-facing payment system, and lead the governance and implementation processes.
Key responsibilities
- Assess the current application and identify integration points for a server-side step-up gate
- Produce the target solution architecture and maintain full governance artifacts throughout the project
- Lead the engineering team, resolving technical questions and overseeing design and delivery processes
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of dual-track experience in architecture and delivery management
- Experience with formal architecture and security approval processes in banking or insurance
- Proven ability to insert authentication controls into live transactional systems
- Strong written communication skills for creating design documents that withstand formal review
- Certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, PMP, or Azure/AWS Solutions Architect
