Job Summary
Supporting energy efficiency and technical programs, the remote Engineer I will analyze energy savings, evaluate equipment and project costs, and research technologies while collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzes equipment and customer eligibility, project applications, and supporting documentation against established program requirements
- Applies established engineering methodologies to calculate energy, demand, and cost savings for program implementation
- Researches energy efficiency technologies and applicable codes to support program initiatives and ensure accurate engineering calculations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 2 years of relevant engineering or technical consulting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience applying engineering principles to technical analyses or calculations
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, and engineering tools for technical work
- Experience preparing technical documentation and reports
