Engineering Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

To support student learning in maritime and engineering disciplines, the part-time Engineering Adjunct Instructor will plan, organize, and deliver courses such as Technical Drawing and Quality Assurance, providing feedback in both classroom and online environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Create a learning environment that facilitates knowledge and skill acquisition in engineering and maritime technology
• Align course activities with learning outcomes and utilize active learning strategies to engage students
• Deliver instruction and conduct assessments while providing timely feedback and holding office hours for student support

Required qualifications:

• Associate Applied Science Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or related field
• Two years of related occupational experience
• Effective communication skills in an electronic format
