Job Summary
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, the full-time remote Engineering Content Author will independently create modern web-based content, oversee external authoring projects, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance engineering education materials.
Key responsibilities:
- Create interactive learning content for various engineering topics, including Material Science and Fluid Mechanics
- Oversee external authoring projects, ensuring quality and adherence to authoring guidelines
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop interactive tools and maintain existing content
Required qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Education
- Experience with LaTeX, MathML, and/or XML
- Previous teaching and/or authoring experience
- A passion for improving engineering education
- Highly motivated and organized
