Engineering Group Lead
Job Summary
Leading a talented group of approximately 17 engineers, the full-time Engineering Group Lead will define and execute the technical vision for the Talent Acquisition domain while providing local leadership at the Zagreb site in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for the Talent Acquisition group to ensure scalability within HiBob's platform
- Lead and mentor engineering leaders and teams, setting clear goals and KPIs for growth and technical excellence
- Own engineering delivery across the group, translating product priorities into actionable technical plans
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Group Lead or equivalent in a fast-paced SaaS or platform company
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong hands-on technical foundation
- 5+ years of people-management experience with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams
- Experience with AI-driven development practices and scalable systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across distributed teams
