Engineering Lead

Job Summary

To support the technical direction of a program, the remote Engineering Lead will manage engineering teams, mentor members, and collaborate with leadership to ensure successful delivery of projects while developing a culture of growth and learning.

Key responsibilities:

• Develops understanding of program scope, schedule, and cost management while articulating delivery requirements to team members
• Provides coaching and development to engineering team members, defining growth goals and creating a culture of learning
• Leads team processes, advocates for technical solutions, and communicates effectively with stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• 9+ years of relevant engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of mentoring and coaching experience, with a focus on task delivery
• Must meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation
• Extensive experience in software development and customer interactions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating technical decisions to non-technical audiences
