Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager, the full-time remote role will lead the development of Arcnine, a new trading platform, by hiring and mentoring engineers, guiding architectural decisions, and collaborating with Product and Design teams through the platform's launch and iterations.
Key responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, and grow a team of full-stack and backend engineers for the Arcnine platform
- Partner closely with Product and Design to define and prioritize the product roadmap
- Own performance management, sprint planning, and production reliability as the platform progresses
Required qualifications
- Prior experience managing or leading engineers, along with hands-on engineering experience
- Full-stack or backend engineering background with technologies such as React, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with REST APIs and real-time services using WebSockets
- Familiarity with relational and/or in-memory data stores like PostgreSQL or Redis
- Experience running production systems on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
