Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading two squads focused on building and maintaining the platform and engineering systems, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will manage team delivery, mentor engineers, and oversee operational health while also shipping code and collaborating with stakeholders across various departments.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, hire, and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring their growth and development
- Own the squad's delivery through sprint shaping, prioritization, and backlog grooming
- Oversee the operational health of the squad, including on-call rotations and post-incident analysis
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Proven track record of shipping mission-critical software and owning delivery processes
- Experience with roadmap building, capacity planning, and stakeholder negotiation
- Hands-on experience with production code in relevant technologies, including AWS and CI/CD
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development and its implications in production environments
