Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading the team behind NodeZero Tripwires, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee decoy and deception development, partner with Product on the roadmap, and mentor engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the delivery strategy for Tripwires, including detection and alerting systems
- Recruit, mentor, and retain engineers focused on distributed systems and security
- Collaborate with the Attack team to ensure new findings enhance detection coverage
Required qualifications
- Experience managing backend, data, or platform engineering teams
- Strong fundamentals in backend and distributed systems, including API design and data modeling
- Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and observability tools
- Ability to lead technical discussions and navigate ambiguity in design processes
- Working knowledge of deception technology, such as honeypots and honeytokens
