Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team within TRM Engineering, the full-time salaried Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring technical quality, setting team direction, and fostering a collaborative culture while managing delivery cadence and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the team by setting direction, standards, and managing the hiring process to ensure adequate staffing and operational efficiency
• Lead and develop the team through performance reviews, coaching, and fostering a culture of psychological safety and high standards
• Own the technical quality of the team's systems by guiding architecture decisions and ensuring reliability and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including production systems and operations
• 2+ years of engineering management experience with a focus on team development and operational effectiveness
• Experience leading teams responsible for production systems, including incident response and reliability
• Technical credibility in TypeScript and Node.js, with hands-on experience in modern front-end frameworks and cloud infrastructure
• A track record of building inclusive, collaborative cultures that promote continuous learning and psychological safety
