Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager for Play Expansion will oversee the development of backend and mobile components to enhance game discoverability and user engagement across the Fetch app.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, setting clear expectations and supporting career growth
- Own the delivery of the Play Expansion roadmap, ensuring high-quality outcomes and predictable execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product goals into technical plans and manage dependencies
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or technical leadership, with a focus on backend systems and mobile applications
- Proven experience leading software engineers and managing small teams
- Strong ability to guide technical execution through design and code reviews
- Experience delivering high-quality consumer products at scale
- Commitment to engineering best practices, including testing and observability
