Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Owning the architecture design and delivery of an engineering team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will manage the team's roadmap and ensure high-quality software delivery while actively participating in coding and AI-assisted engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee architecture design, delivery, and roadmap for the Experience Services product space, ensuring accountability for long-term health and evolution
- Engage in hands-on coding, including writing specifications and reviewing pull requests to maintain current technical judgment
- Facilitate cross-team dependencies and manage engineering outcomes to achieve high performance metrics and predictable software delivery
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in software engineering with at least one year in a leadership role
- Hands-on technical fluency in Perl, PHP, React, Vue, and relational databases such as Postgres and MariaDB
- Proven experience in AI-assisted engineering with quantifiable impact
- Demonstrated ability to deliver software to committed dates while managing production on-call rotations
- Experience in managed hosting, cloud, or high-availability service environments
