Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Guiding a team of Software and Quality Assurance engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will mentor talent, establish quality strategies, and ensure the stability of the telehealth platform while contributing technically to feature implementation and bug resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and support the career progression of software and QA engineers through regular feedback and performance evaluations
- Establish a comprehensive QA strategy and monitor quality metrics to ensure a reliable production platform
- Design and refine Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure high-velocity delivery of technical solutions
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in an engineering management or tech lead role
- Hands-on coding proficiency in core technologies such as Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and React
- Experience managing Quality Assurance functions, including test strategy and automated testing integration
- Proven ability to facilitate technical discussions and empower engineers in design decisions
- Strong understanding of modern quality assurance practices, including CI/CD and test automation frameworks
