Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading the Consumer Credit Cards Marketplaces team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will manage technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive high-quality delivery while focusing on AI development tools and modern engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and people outcomes for the team, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective architecture
- Manage and develop a team of engineers through 1-on-1s, feedback, and performance management
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive meaningful business value and enhance technical initiatives
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering with experience as a hands-on Technical Lead
- Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js, with familiarity in modern front-end frameworks like Next.js
- Experience architecting and building scalable back-end APIs and microservices
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools and advanced development workflows
