Job Summary
Leading a talented team of engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee the Treasury pod, focusing on delivering financial infrastructure, mentoring staff, and enhancing engineering practices while actively engaging in coding and architectural decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to develop and execute the Treasury engineering strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers in building payment tools and financial dashboards
- Drive the development of financial systems that facilitate faster money movement for nonprofits
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP/Laravel)
- Hands-on experience in designing and building scalable financial or fintech systems
- At least 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ engineers
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and security requirements
- Proven experience in hiring and developing remote engineering teams
