Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the engineering effort for Supabase Spark, the full-time Engineering Manager will build a high-trust team culture, manage hiring processes, and oversee project delivery in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a healthy team culture while managing performance, development, and onboarding
• Own the hiring plan and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to source and interview candidates
• Manage the team's roadmap and project management, ensuring accountability and alignment with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a strong background in complex systems
• 3+ years of experience managing remote engineering teams
• Experience in a cloud, SaaS, or developer tools company
• Strong technical credibility in backend and database systems, particularly with APIs and Postgres
• Proven track record of performance management and navigating difficult conversations
