Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a pod of engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee a team focused on delivering AI-driven solutions while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering team growth in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of 6 to 10 engineers through weekly 1:1s, performance evaluations, and career development
• Stay hands-on by reviewing pull requests, shipping code, and debugging production issues with the team
• Drive project delivery by turning roadmap initiatives into scoped work and ensuring timely resolution of customer problems

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a management role
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript and familiar with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Experience building and growing teams in a startup environment
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and a strong understanding of code review processes
• Direct communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback effectively
