Job Summary
To lead the engineering team for Privacy.com through its next growth phase, the remote Engineering Manager will manage and grow a team of engineers, spending approximately one-third of their time hands-on coding while ensuring high reliability and correctness across the product.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of engineers, focusing on performance and overall team health
- Oversee multi-month initiatives from planning to launch, ensuring alignment with stakeholders
- Raise operational excellence through improvements in observability, incident response, and reliability
Required qualifications
- Experience managing and growing engineering teams, including coaching and hiring
- Strong technical judgment and system design skills, particularly for distributed systems
- Proficiency with NodeJS and AWS or closely related technology stacks
- Experience shipping and operating production services with a focus on reliability
- Ability to balance long-term projects with immediate product delivery needs
