Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Engineering Manager to lead a remote engineering team, overseeing project delivery, managing engineers, and acting as a liaison between engineering, customers, and stakeholders while remaining hands-on with coding and debugging as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the engineering team, providing feedback and support while assisting in hiring efforts
- Own project delivery by planning and prioritizing work across customer implementations and the product roadmap
- Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to set expectations, communicate project status, and translate needs into prioritized tasks
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience managing engineers or leading a team
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects involving external stakeholders or customers
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript/Node.js and the ability to read, review, and write code
- Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with diverse teams and executives
- Self-directed with the ability to navigate ambiguity in an early-stage environment
