Job Summary
To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Engineering Manager will lead the Operations Experience engineering team, focusing on team ownership, delivery management, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the engineering team through regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and growth plans for each engineer
- Own the team's planning and delivery processes, ensuring predictable shipping and addressing risks early
- Collaborate with other Engineering Managers and Product Managers to drive feature plans and execution
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in people management, including giving direct feedback and managing performance across various employment models
- Strong ownership of delivery processes, with a track record of turning priorities into actionable plans
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and verticals to achieve results
- Technical depth to understand systems and assess tradeoffs in technical plans
- 3+ years of experience managing an engineering team (preferred)
