Job Summary
Leading the Tabby Card Activation team, the full-time Engineering Manager will combine technical expertise with people leadership, remaining hands-on with the codebase while driving architectural decisions and team development in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead large cross-team projects and drive them to production
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions
- Hire, evaluate, mentor, and motivate team members while fostering cross-functional collaboration
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 2+ years as an Engineering Manager
- Experience in building scalable, distributed systems and high-load architectures
- Solid understanding of backend tools and technologies, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development
- Strong communication skills in English
