Job Summary
The full-time remote Engineering Manager will manage and lead software engineering teams, overseeing the design and delivery of innovative software solutions to support the Hospital Quality Reporting program while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and lead one or more teams of software engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions in collaboration with Product Managers
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and career development opportunities to team members
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Databricks, Go, or Python
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading software engineering teams
