Managing multiple engineering teams, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee the Merchant Capabilities team, ensuring operational health and performance while modernizing the MX Merchant product.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive hiring, performance management, and team development to maintain high technical standards
- Ensure predictable and sustainable team delivery, holding commitments to product and business partners
- Oversee operational health, including service-level objectives and response management during high-pressure situations
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in engineering management, including hiring and performance accountability
- Strong technical background in .NET systems and Node.js/JavaScript applications
- Experience managing legacy modernization projects, specifically from .NET Framework to modern .NET
- Fluency in API contracts, Kafka, observability, and reliability patterns
- Proven ability to partner effectively with senior technical leaders
