Engineering Manager - Data Analysis

Job Summary

Leading a team of technical professionals, the full-time Engineering Manager - Data Analysis will focus on metrics reporting and analysis for autonomous vehicle performance, while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity across various U.S. locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team responsible for analysis and metrics reporting, delivering insights to internal engineering and customer-facing teams
• Prioritize team workload and remove blockers to ensure timely delivery of metrics and reporting requests from stakeholders
• Develop and maintain data analysis scripts and visualization tools to support efficient triage and metric reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related field; experience in lieu of education
• 2-5 years of industry experience in data analysis, metrics reporting, or test/defect tracking, with some prior experience leading or mentoring a team
• Experience with Python programming and SQL for data analysis
• Hands-on experience with Jira for defect/bug tracking and familiarity with software quality reporting concepts
• Demonstrated ability to create new metrics from scratch, including defining the metric, implementing the data pipeline, and visualizing results
