Engineering Manager, Guest & Host

Job Summary

Leading a team of senior and staff engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, Guest & Host will oversee the development of a platform that enhances host earnings and listing quality through AI-assisted insights, while collaborating closely with product, design, and data science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term technical strategy and architecture for the insights platform
• Lead the team in building reliable and scalable systems for insight creation and delivery
• Mentor and support the career growth of individual contributors within the engineering team

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the tech industry, with 5+ years in an Engineering Manager role
• Proven track record of managing large-scale software systems and leading major re-architectures
• Depth in backend, data, or machine learning platforms, with experience in distributed systems
• Experience applying machine learning and LLMs in production settings
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical partners
