Engineering Manager, Hardware Bringup
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Hardware Bringup will oversee the end-to-end delivery of accelerator bring-up across the Modular stack, participating in design reviews and managing project timelines in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team focused on bringing up new accelerator architectures
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to architecture, prototypes, and code
- Manage the delivery of hardware platform enablement efforts and collaborate with hardware partners on Statements of Work (SOWs)
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in compiler engineering, high-performance computing, or kernel development, with 2+ years in a management role
- Strong technical foundation in compilers, systems software, or accelerator programming
- Proficiency in C++ and experience with complex, multi-component software systems
- Hands-on experience with heterogeneous programming models (e.g., CUDA, SYCL, OpenCL)
- Demonstrated track record of delivering technical roadmaps with external dependencies
