Engineering Manager - Identity

Job Summary

Leading the team responsible for building and delivering the Identity and Access Management (IAM) foundation for the Camunda 8 platform, the full-time Engineering Manager - Identity will ensure end-to-end delivery of secure, enterprise-ready solutions while coaching engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of reusable IAM components, shaping authentication and authorization for large enterprises
• Partner with engineering teams and product leadership to develop and drive a clear technical and product vision
• Grow and coach a team of engineers, fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Senior level technical depth in IAM and enterprise software with the ability to review designs and represent the team effectively
• Proven track record of leading medium to large delivery projects from inception to release in a remote setting
• Hands-on experience implementing or integrating IAM solutions, with knowledge of protocols like OIDC and SAML
• Strong communication skills for translating business requirements into actionable engineering plans
• Background in product engineering for integration-heavy B2B products with a focus on security and performance
