Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Knowledge Graph will set the technical direction for Reddit's Knowledge Graph Platform, establish operating standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on building the Knowledge Graph Platform
- Define the technical roadmap, including data contracts, service interfaces, and performance standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize use cases and enhance platform access and capabilities
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with AI/ML powered platforms and managing shared technical systems
- Strong understanding of data contracts, governance, and operational excellence
- Proven ability to navigate technical trade-offs and communicate effectively across teams
