Engineering Manager - Kubernetes
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Manager II - Engineering - Kubernetes will oversee the Kubernetes platform infrastructure, establish strategic roadmaps, and enhance the reliability and efficiency of production systems, all while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Kubernetes platform team in building and operating infrastructure and tooling for scalable services
- Establish the team's strategy and success measures while driving architecture and technical decisions
- Recruit, coach, and develop engineers, fostering an inclusive and accountable team environment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing engineering teams in infrastructure or related technical areas
- Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, or production systems
- Technical expertise in public cloud, distributed systems, and production operations
- Strong reliability mindset with experience leading teams responsible for operational quality
