Engineering Manager, Machine Learning

Job Summary

Leading a senior team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Machine Learning will drive career development, shape product roadmaps, and ensure effective use of machine learning and AI in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and support the career development and workload of a senior team focused on machine learning and data science
• Collaborate with Product Management and Decision Science to define metrics and establish success criteria for marketplace balancing tests
• Design, build, and deploy machine-learning pipelines while monitoring model performance for speed and accuracy

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced software development environment
• 2+ years of experience in a software engineering leadership role
• Proven background as a Machine Learning manager or a Senior/Staff Data Scientist transitioning into management
• Deep experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with applied experience in building reproducible ML pipelines
