Engineering Manager, ML

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time Engineering Manager, ML will oversee the end-to-end product data pipeline, manage the ML roadmap for catalogue intelligence, and drive large cross-team projects in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end product data pipeline, ensuring quality and freshness of ML enrichment and moderation
• Lead the ML roadmap for catalogue intelligence, focusing on category coverage, translation quality, and recommendations
• Hire, evaluate, and motivate team members while fostering cross-team collaboration to enhance efficiency

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in production ML systems
• 2+ years as an Engineering Manager or ML Team Lead in a fast-growing e-commerce, marketplace, or fintech company
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and large-scale data and ML pipelines
• Solid backend fundamentals with proficiency in reviewing Go and Python services
• Strong grasp of ML evaluation metrics and a proactive mindset for independent work
