Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager - Platform will oversee the Control Plane Platform team, driving technical direction, product integration, and operational excellence in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture
- Own the outcomes across platform services, including API gateways, deployment patterns, and observability, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivery velocity
- Shape the platform vision and roadmap, facilitating cross-organizational collaboration and driving adoption through effective tooling and support
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years in a management role with a proven track record of talent development
- Experience leading platform or infrastructure teams and driving cross-organizational migrations through influence
- Strong background in building scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Technical credibility to engage in architecture discussions and incident management without daily implementation responsibilities
