Job Summary
Leading the Trust & Safety engineering team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Security will manage systems for fraud prevention and abuse detection while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Trust & Safety engineering team through hiring, mentorship, and performance management
- Define the team's roadmap, balancing operational needs with investments in prevention and automation
- Guide the design and delivery of systems that detect and respond to platform abuse and fraud incidents
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing engineering teams
- Strong background in software and security engineering with experience in fraud prevention and abuse detection
- Experience leading teams with on-call or incident response responsibilities
- Ability to translate ambiguous threats into clear priorities and actionable improvements
- Experience using data to evaluate detection quality and operational effectiveness
