Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a small team of product engineers, the full-time Engineering Team Lead will manage and mentor the team while designing and overseeing an AI-native development workflow, ensuring accountability and quality in product delivery in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of product engineers while setting the product engineering strategy and ensuring predictable delivery
• Define and refine the AI-native process for decomposing work into agent-runnable tasks, including acceptance criteria and user acceptance testing checkpoints
• Establish clear human-decision points to ensure AI output is verified by accountable engineers before deployment

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role while remaining hands-on
• Strong full-stack experience with React and TypeScript, along with back-end experience in Node.js or similar technologies
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services and PostgreSQL schema design
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and a critical eye for reviewing code
• Ability to communicate clearly in an AI-native process with well-written task specifications
