Engineering Technician
Job Summary
Supporting the Transmission & Distribution group, the full-time Engineering Technician will provide technical drafting support and create drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD while collaborating closely with engineers in Boise, ID.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in designing and drafting projects within the Transmission & Distribution department
- Create technical drawings using Microstation and AutoCAD under supervision
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion on schedule
Required qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or current enrollment in Technical Drafting program
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Microstation is a plus
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software is advantageous
- Experience with Transmission & Distribution design and drafting is beneficial
