Job Summary
Detail-oriented English Audio Transcription Specialist will work on a contract basis to review and correct ASR-generated transcripts for a podcast audio annotation project, focusing on word-level segmentation and ensuring high accuracy in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review ASR-generated transcripts against source audio and correct transcription errors
- Adjust word-level segmentation and boundaries to accurately match audio content
- Maintain high accuracy while meeting project productivity and turnaround expectations
Required Qualifications
- Auditory English proficiency: C1 or above, with near-native listening ability
- Written English proficiency: B2 or above
- Strong understanding of casual spoken English, including slang and disfluencies
- Prior experience in audio transcription, speech data annotation, or similar projects is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under defined productivity targets
