Enrolled Actuary

Job Summary

Supporting the annual administration of Single Employer Small Plan Pension (Defined Benefit) plans, the full-time remote Enrolled Actuary will perform funding valuations, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee benefit calculations while providing technical guidance to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Review and perform funding valuations for defined benefit and cash balance plans, signing actuarial certifications and reports
• Ensure compliance with IRS funding regulations by reviewing and signing regulatory filings and actuarial reports
• Oversee participant benefit calculations and conduct non-discrimination testing, maintaining accuracy across all deliverables

Required qualifications

• Enrolled Actuary (EA) Designation
• College degree required
• Five or more years of pension experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail
