Enterprise Architect - Data Systems

Job Summary

To design and own the enterprise data architecture for employee data using Databricks, the full-time Enterprise Architect - Data Systems will work remotely, translating company policies and business logic into a secure, scalable architecture while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architecture for employee data on Databricks, including data lakehouse structure and governance layers
• Translate company policies and industry standards into technical architecture and data models
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders to implement business rules directly into the data architecture

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
• Proven experience designing enterprise-level data architecture, particularly for HR or sensitive datasets
• Solid understanding of data governance and compliance standards
• Ability to translate business and legal policies into technical specifications
• Experience with data modeling and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
