Job Summary
To support the IT@JH Cloud & Virtualization Services team, the full-time Enterprise Web and DevOps Architect will lead architecture planning, security, implementation, and maintenance of web and database hosting services, focusing on automation and security within public cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design and integrate security practices using DevSecOps principles and tools for hosting over 1600 web applications
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to enforce cloud infrastructure security and automate deployment processes
- Research advancements in AI and high-performance computing to develop secure hosting solutions for web applications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Eight years of related work experience with computer systems and applications
- Proven experience in cloud management and administration, particularly with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
- Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and GitOps technologies
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and managing database systems
