Entry-Level Actuarial Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Actuarial Analyst, this full-time position offers the opportunity to assist in reserving analyses, support actuarial reporting, and provide analytical support for reinsurance evaluations, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite in La Jolla, CA, or Edina, MN.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in reserving analyses for assigned books of business using actuarial tools
- Support actuarial and statistical reporting, ensuring accuracy in data analysis
- Provide analytical support for reinsurance and pricing evaluations, collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in an actuarial or analytical role
- Minimum of 1 actuarial exam passed, with a commitment to pursuing further actuarial credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SQL, Python, or R
- Exposure to actuarial concepts, insurance data, or predictive modeling
- Experience or coursework related to Property and Casualty Insurance is preferred
