Entry-Level Information Security Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the organization's cybersecurity operations, the entry-level Information Security Analyst I will monitor security systems, analyze alerts, assist with incident response, and help maintain the overall security posture in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security tools for suspicious activity and escalate potential incidents to senior analysts
- Assist in responding to security incidents, including containment and remediation activities
- Support vulnerability scanning and tracking remediation efforts while validating fixes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent training/certifications
- 0-2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related fields (internships count)
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles
- CompTIA Security certification is a plus
- Familiarity with security tools and concepts (SIEM, Firewalls, endpoint protection)
