Entry-Level IT Support Tester
Job Summary
Assisting developers in evaluating software for veterans' affairs, the full-time Entry-Level IT Support Tester will build test plans, execute test cases, and document results in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on user stories
- Generate data and perform manual testing to evaluate software performance
- Document test results and communicate defects to the development team
Required qualifications
- Experience with test methodologies, QA processes, and the software release cycle
- Knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Ability to write test plans and test cases
- Prior experience with federal or VA.gov digital services is highly desirable
