Entry-Level Technical Designer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Entry-Level Technical Designer will develop technical designs and construction documents for restaurant projects, collaborating with design teams and ensuring compliance with quality and budget standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develops technical designs and edits architectural drawings to meet project timelines and budgetary requirements
- Performs design activities including programming, code research, and site surveys
- Coordinates with contractors and consultants to address constructability issues and obtain necessary documentation
Required qualifications
- Experience in all phases of the project cycle is required
- Proficiency in architectural design software including Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes
- Completion of related post-secondary education
- 0-5 years of project work experience, with experience in restaurant projects as an asset
