Job Summary
Providing technical expertise and support, the full-time remote Environmental Analyst - NEPA will prepare and review Environmental Baseline Survey (EBS) documents, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with legal counsel at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct site assessments for Environmental Baseline Survey (EBS) documentation
- Review EBS surveys for completeness and provide technical and editorial feedback
- Administer National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requests and ensure compliance with environmental laws
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Natural Resources Management, or a related field
- Five or more years of technical experience with environmental planning/analysis and NEPA
- Proven experience in writing, editing, and reviewing environmental documents
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project schedules
- Proficiency in standard computer programs and database management systems
